Fabio Di Resta – President

Lawyer and Law Professor, after a law degree specialising in computer law in Great Britain within the EU. He began working as a legal counsel for major corporations dealing right now of legal issues concerning the protection of personal data and the right of the new technologies. In this context, he gained 20 years of experience participating in national and international projects for multinational and performing legal advice on aspects of organisational security in the framework of the ISO 27001 and best practices related to ICT.

He also deals with many of the legal aspects, under Government Code, on dematerialisation projects on behalf of major public and private companies. He has published several books including: Protection of Information. Privacy and security, Inside telematics, Fraud and security, the protection of personal data in the Information Society, The Electronic Health Record and others. Finally, he publishes regularly in journals and he is a member of a number of specialised reviews, amongst the others http://www.henrystewartpublications.com/jdpp/editorialboard, he participates in conferences, Law Professor at the Niccolò Cusano University of Rome, he holds lectures and seminars on the topic of IT law and privacy at several prestigious universities. Furthermore, he has been a member of the Board of Directors at a master on Data Protection Officer and Privacy Experts at “Roma Tre ” University of Rome under the patronage of the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.masterprotezionedatipersonali.it ).

He is the owner of Di Resta Lawyers (www.direstalawyers.eu), international law firm which judicially assists a number of companies and government agencies, the law firm is specialized in legal cases such as privacy litigation , cyber crimes law, identity theft, law of new technologies and intellectual property law, international trade law. He holds the role of President of the European Privacy Centre – EPCE.

Gianluca Savino – Advisor

Gianluca Savino

Gianluca Savino is a lawyer and deals with Technology Law, Policy, Business Law and Labour. He lives and works in Rome, where he founded the law firm Savino, of which he is the owner. In 2004 he received, a Master’s Degree with honors in “Law and Electronic Commerce” at the University of Rome LUMSA, entitled “Relationship between the protection of personal data and one to one marketing: the problems of the burden of proof ” with Prof. Donato Lemon rapporteur.

Accordingly, he obtained in 2009 a Master’s Degree with honors on the subject of “Labor Law and Social Security” at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, with a thesis degree entitled “The health surveillance and medical examinations in the workplace, from the Workers’ Statute to law no. 106/2009” with the Professor Giuseppe Santoro Passarelli. He has been working about a decade as a legal counsel to major corporations, public and private, and universities, on legal issues related to the protection of personal data, Internet and computer crimes, E-commerce and digital marketing. He collaborates with the Legal Network Association, Revenue Official, Citizens and Solidarity, he holds the role of lawyer dealing mainly wih civil law cases. Furhtermore, he is a teacher and trainer and he is the author of publications specialized legal issues. Lastly, He holds the role of advisor in European Privacy Centre  – EPCE.

Emiliano Vitelli – Advisor

Lawyer authorised to deal case with the Suprem Court of Cassation, he deals with criminal law and a civil, after is law degree with Professor Stefano Rodotà on the subject of “Civilian aspects of cryptography network” in 1999, he became lawyer in 2003, from that date it exercises his professional activity. More recently, he obtained a master’s degree in the field of “Computer security and legal framework” organized by CRIS, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, graduating with honors with 110. He also holds the position of Auditor and Lead Auditor for the international standards ISO 27001: 2005 “Management Systems” Information Systems and ISO 27005: 2011 “Systems Management Services”.

Then he deals with multiple issues of law.
