President of EPCE Speaks on the Subject of International Terrorism and Privacy

Attorney Di Resta speaks at the University Campus Radio Cusano Unicusano Rome as a president of the European Privacy Centre (EPCE) .

In his remarks Di Resta speaks about the government’s plan on fighting against international terrorism:

Substantial failure of the laws of emergency and temporary times to meet immediate safety but essentially useless in the fight against international terrorism;
System of network sharing of images recorded in the works of private and public cameras;
The employment of facial recognition systems (biometric data);
Strengthening of cooperation between the intelligence systems of different countries;
The subject of the strengthening of the European system of data sharing passenger airline companies (PNR).
